About Me
My name is Gabriel Sutherland and I am a Mechanical Engineering student, Deep Reinforcement Learning researcher, amateur astronomer, and UAV enthusiast.
My Experience
I am an undergraduate at Oregon State University studying Mechanical Engineering, and speak English, Brazilian Portuguese, German, and Mandarin.
My sophomore year of high school, I founded DroneON LLC, a precision Ag startup that focused on bringing multi-use UAVs to market.
Currently, I am developing an AI-enabled spacecraft for autonomous space debris remediation.
My Skillset
I possess a sharp eye for detail, which I use in designing electrical and mechanical systems. I work well under pressure and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time. I have strong interpersonal skills and work with a wide variety of people.
My Goals
I enjoy opportunities to work with a team that is diverse, and passionate about their work. I want to align myself with a group I believe in and where I can create positive change. I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on challenging projects.
